Kayseri is a Central Anatolian city beneath Mount Erciyes, with Seljuk and Ottoman monuments in its center. It also opens onto mountain and archaeological trips.
Kayseri rewards a stop in its own right, especially if you are crossing Central Anatolia. Historic buildings in the center show its Seljuk and Ottoman layers, while Mount Erciyes changes the skyline and offers a very different outing.
