Uludağ
Uludağ is a mountain landscape near Bursa for skiing in winter and trekking in summer. Forest, high plateaus and alpine terrain make conditions vary with elevation.
The mountain’s 2,543 m summit rises above the Marmara region, with lower woodland giving way to high meadows. Sarıalan, Kirazlıyayla and Kadıyayla are named plateau areas that help orient a visit. The ancient name Olympus and traces of Byzantine monastic life add a historical layer to the landscape.
