The Borgia Apartment was a papal residence before it became a setting for part of the Vatican’s modern art collection. Six observations connect its painted decoration with individual works by Sartorio, Van Gogh and Matisse. The visit ends with full-size designs for the chapel at Vence, displayed in the Vatican Matisse Room.
