The Pinecone Courtyard, Square Garden, Pinacoteca Courtyard and Courtyard of the Cuirasses are documented resting areas. Choose a pause that fits the part of the museum you are visiting, and follow the current signs to it.
Food, drink and facilities
Use the refreshment areas along the itinerary for food and drink. Do not eat or drink in exhibition rooms. Toilets and accessible toilets are marked on the museum map. Check their position before starting another long sequence of galleries.
Visiting with children
Ask staff for the appropriate lifts and route when using a stroller. Baby-changing facilities and a nursing room are available. A pause before the chapel also gives you time to read its preparation and put the phone away before entering.
