Reduced and free categories
Reduced admission applies to children aged 7–18, students up to and including age 25 with current enrolment documents, and listed clergy or religious categories with the required documentation. Bring the document that establishes your category. Children under seven enter free. Free last-Sunday openings follow the museum calendar.
Choose the right process
Book through the official Vatican Museums portal when using online admission. Tickets are non-refundable. Disability concessions have a separate documentation process at the Special Permits or Welcome Desk, with tickets issued there rather than online. Read the accessibility guidance before choosing that option.
