The full story
Arco dei Gavi, Porta Borsari and Ponte Pietra reveal ancient Verona in fragments that remain part of daily routes. Follow them as a loose theme rather than a fixed circuit: the arch and gate explain the old street line, while the bridge shows ancient fabric repaired across later centuries. Torre dei Lamberti and Giardino Giusti then pull those fragments together from above, each from a different side of the river. Choose the tower for a compact central panorama or the garden for a longer visit with terraces, planting and steps. Three or four of these stops are enough for a coherent half day. Because the high points require time or a climb, select one panorama and let the street-level monuments provide the rest of the route's historical detail.
