This five-stop outdoor visit follows the main east–west axis from the palace terrace to the near shore of the Grand Canal. Compare a reflection, a mythological scene and a long avenue before reaching the open water of the park. The visit ends at the canal. Return walking to the palace is additional and uphill.
Before you arrive
In low season, fountains are off and outdoor statues have protective covers. Follow the pools, paths and long views, skipping figure-detail prompts where a sculpture is covered.
