This was such an incredible experience. I had a fantastic day getting made up and dressed into a Kimono. I had no idea how wonderful and complex this was ( to me anyway ). The lovely colours and materials. There were layers and layers.
In the end, I felt and walked like a Geisha. A tick off my bucket list.
Everyone was so kind, and reassuring and encouraging. The Kawaii Kimono staff did a fabulous job and you can tell that they love what they do.
They encourage visitors to enjoy and learn their culture
A must for everyone.
I had a great time trying on the kimono. The staff were lovely and friendly. Although it was a rainy day, they lent an umbrella and the photos still trned out amazing. I felt very glamourous and was a highlight of my trip! Highly recommend!
This was an excellent experience! My family and I enjoyed it a lot and highly recommend it, when in Tokyo! The organizers were extremely polite, nice and professional, explaining the details of the kimonos and advising on how to get better poses for the photos. Brilliant!
The attention to detail from the Japanese people was amazing, and the price was way, way, under I could imagine. The photographer took my wife to the temple and shoot for 2 hours, the kimonos are a delight, clean and luxuries.
I can't understand how can they make any money at this price, no surprises, I paid 4 times that to the taxi from the airport!!
Thank you very much for the wonderful experience and memories and photos that are now on display in our home in Canada. It was the highlight of our trip to Japan.
A perfect day with the great people of the Kimono rental shop. Perfect Kimonos and a great fotoshooting. Beautiful staff. Domo arigato!
An absolutely wonderful experience. Real Pros. They take there time and properly dress you. The indoor staff is excellent. The photographer is a real pro. Great experience
This was highlight on my visit to Tokyo! A husband and wife team run this business and they welcome you like family not like a number! What’s way to view iconic sites while playing dress-up in special ware! What a value you get with your one personal photographer both in the studio and outside. You are given all your photos and some surprise print-outs. I was also pleasantly surprised they edit the photos too! They genuinely care about your time with them and I also learned so much about Japanese culture and the proud detailed effort that goes into wearing a Kimono’
We really liked the workshop. It was very exciting and interesting to experience something new about Japan. The Kimono team and cameraman were very helpful and friendly. They provided a lot of different Kimonos to use during the workshop and styled our hair. They had a lot of patience to let us feel the beauty of Japanese culture. We received a print of our pictures and a little souvenir from Japan. Thank you very much.
Me and my husband enjoyed our Kimono rental experience with Kawaii Kimono Company from the time we were dressed up to the photoshoot around Shibuya with their professional photographer.Thank you very much to Sam and Koji Nakano for their professionalism, for making this special and unforgettable experience for us.Highly recommended.
