Historic sites in central Antalya
Kaleiçi gathers Antalya’s Roman gate, Seljuk minaret, Ottoman mosques and old harbour into a compact historic district. Pick a few anchors and follow the streets between them.
Hadrian’s Gate and Yivli Minare show different chapters of the city within the same central area. Kesik Minare adds a building shaped by successive religious uses, while the harbour explains why this walled settlement faced the sea. The landmarks are best read together as layers, not as a checklist of isolated monuments.
Useful to know
Pair Hadrian’s Gate with Yivli Minare, then continue toward the harbour if you want a broader walk.
Use Kesik Minare as an exterior history stop; confirm any interior access separately.
