Getting Around Nassau
Nassau's airport is west of the centre; jitneys, taxis, rental cars and ferries serve different journeys. Match the mode to the route instead of assuming the waterfront covers New Providence.
A central harbour walk, a trip across the island and a connection by water each need different planning. Jitneys and taxis serve movement around Nassau, ferries link water destinations, and the airport transfer starts outside the downtown core. The road network also requires attention to left-side driving.
