Why go

Farley Hill pairs landscaped public grounds with the remains of a nineteenth-century mansion. The house was destroyed by fire in 1965; its shell is a historic backdrop, not an interior tour. Come for a walk, a picnic and views from the higher ground. The Barbados Wildlife Reserve nearby is a separate managed attraction. The ruined shell remains a backdrop to the tree-lined grounds and open views.

What to look for

  • Exterior view of the burned mansion shell.
  • Elevated park grounds suited to a picnic.

Useful to know

  • Confirm current park access and events; view the ruins from safe public ground.
