Why go
Bermeo’s civic architecture and maritime museum lead into a slower afternoon beside the Urdaibai estuary. Start with the town hall facade, then visit the Fishermen’s Museum in Ercilla Tower. Continue by Euskotren to Itsasbegi-Busturia and walk into Sukarrieta, the quieter final essential stop. The transfer allowance includes walking to and from stations and time to wait for a train. Check the museum and railway timetables before leaving. If you still want another architectural visit, continue to Santa María church in Busturia as an optional exterior stop; otherwise spend that time beside the estuary.
