Horda Museum
Horda Museum explores traditional work in Hordaland, including farming, fishing, crafts and wooden boats. It gives visitors a regional livelihood story away from the central merchant harbour.
The museum’s rural and coastal material helps show the communities that supplied and connected with Bergen. That makes it a useful counterpart to Bryggen’s trade narrative and the city-centre maritime museums. Because the site is in southern Bergen, it works best as a deliberate excursion rather than a brief addition to a walking route. Check which buildings and exhibitions are open.
