Mount Fløyen Viewpoint
The viewpoint on Fløyen gives a broad look over Bergen’s harbour, streets and surrounding mountains. Reach it by the funicular or on foot, then decide whether to continue into the trails.
This is a place to understand the city’s setting from above, distinct from the Fløibanen ride that gets many visitors there. The top also leads into a network of walks, but a short panorama stop is worthwhile on its own. Visibility changes quickly with cloud and rain; check conditions before making the view the centrepiece of a day.
