Why go
Begin at Grassalkovich Palace and note the nearby Summer Archbishop’s Palace before turning toward the Trinitarian Church and Michael’s Gate area. Continue into Hlavné námestie for the Maximilian Fountain and Old Town Hall. Primate’s Square and Primate’s Palace form the essential final cluster in the centre. The full list is too ambitious if you enter every building, so treat the fountain and smaller palace exteriors as brief observations. Add Bratislava Castle only with comfortable shoes, clear weather and enough energy for the steep climb.
