400 Third

Formerly known as Canterra Tower, 400 Third is a glass-clad office tower on 3 Avenue SW. It is a quick exterior sight within the downtown skyline.

400 Third

Why go

The current name resolves a common mismatch between older Calgary references and the building sign. Its glass curtain wall gives the tower a continuous reflective surface that contrasts with heavier masonry neighbours. The useful visit is a look from the street while exploring the office core.

What to look for

  • Glass curtain walls wrap all sides of the tower.
  • The building was formerly called Canterra Tower and Devon Tower.

Useful to know

  • Look at the exterior from 3 Avenue SW; no public sightseeing visit is established.
