Cenote Zací
Cenote Zací brings a partly open limestone cavity and groundwater pool into Valladolid’s streets, making the region’s underground landscape visible within a city visit.
The striking relationship is between the ordinary streets above and the rock vault and water below. That proximity makes Zací a useful introduction to cenotes without leaving Valladolid for a separate countryside excursion. The geological setting is the core attraction, while any descent or swimming depends on the access permitted during the visit.
