MUSA — Manchones Underwater Gallery
MUSA’s Manchones gallery places contemporary sculpture underwater between Cancún and Isla Mujeres, making a boat excursion part of the museum experience itself.
The sculptures change as marine organisms colonise their surfaces, so the visit combines looking at artwork with observing the development of habitat. The Silent Evolution’s life-size figures give that relationship a strong visual focus. Manchones is a specific offshore gallery, making the selected tour route essential to seeing the works that interest you.
