Punta Sur, Isla Mujeres
Punta Sur combines cliff scenery, Maya temple remains and outdoor sculpture at the southern end of Isla Mujeres, offering a landscape distinct from its sandy northern beaches.
The headland brings several kinds of observation into one coastal setting. The cliffs explain the island’s exposed southern edge, while the temple remains show an earlier use of the same commanding position.
