Why go
The dolmen offers a direct encounter with a substantial megalithic gallery in its hillside setting above Pépieux. Looking along the stones gives a better sense of the tomb’s form than a distant view alone. The pine-covered slope makes the approach part of the experience and places the prehistoric structure within the Minervois landscape.

Useful to know
- Pépieux town hall describes the dolmen as reachable by hiking paths and invites visitors to walk around it. A proposed 12 km tourist route is still under development, so do not present that route as open or signed.
- Municipality supports a walking visit; the specific approach, trail condition, and any property boundary should be checked before publishing directions.
