Why go
The Triumphs of Saint Raphael at the Roman Bridge and Puerta del Puente connect a local protective figure with the river crossing. In the Judería, the statue of Maimonides points to Córdoba’s Jewish intellectual history, while Cristo de los Faroles gives Plaza de Capuchinos a very different mood. These are useful, separate encounters rather than stops on one compulsory walk.
What to look for
- Look for a Triumph of Saint Raphael near the Roman Bridge or Puerta del Puente.
- Find Maimonides in Plaza de Tiberíades, within the Judería.
- At Plaza de Capuchinos, notice how the lanterns frame Cristo de los Faroles.
Useful to know
- Pair the bridge monuments with a Guadalquivir crossing; save Maimonides for a Judería walk.
- The Jardines de la Agricultura sculptures make a separate garden-focused combination.
