Roman Mausoleums
Two reconstructed Roman funerary monuments at the edge of the old city make a compact stop on the way between the centre and Victoria gardens.
Why go
Their cylindrical forms and position beside the ancient road toward Hispalis reveal how prominent families displayed status at a city entrance. One mausoleum has been reconstructed more fully, making the pair a useful comparison. The visit works best as a short exterior observation rather than an assumed museum entry.
