Why go
The building’s dramatic slant makes municipal government visible as a piece of modern architecture. Seen from the civic plaza, its mass and geometry create a strong contrast with Dallas’s older downtown buildings. This stop works best as an exterior study of Pei’s design and the surrounding public space, especially alongside the much earlier Dallas Municipal Building elsewhere downtown.
