Wells Fargo Center
This downtown office tower is recognizable by its curved, cash-register-like roofline. Treat it as a short exterior architecture stop while walking near Lincoln Street.
Philip Johnson's 1983 tower stands apart from Denver's flatter downtown rooflines. Its stepped crown explains the local cash-register nickname, and the silhouette is clearer from a little distance than from directly below. It works best as a visual detour during another downtown walk.
