One World Observatory
One World Observatory offers an enclosed high-level view from One World Trade Center. From above Lower Manhattan, the Hudson, East River, harbor islands, and bridge crossings fit into a single panorama.
Why go
The height makes the geography of New York Harbor readable at a glance. Trace the Hudson south past Jersey City, follow the East River under its bridges, and pick out the islands visited by ferry. After time at street level, the panorama gives a clear sense of how waterfront districts and routes relate to one another, with the city spread out on every side.
What to look for
Use the elevation to read the shape of the Hudson, East River, islands, and bridge crossings after the ferry.
