Shopping in Tenjin and Daimyo
Tenjin combines underground shopping passages with department-store streets above ground; nearby Daimyo offers a smaller-street browsing area. Plan around that contrast instead of chasing a fixed list of stores.
Tenjin Chikagai makes it easy to move among transport stops and larger shopping areas under cover. Above ground, Kego Shrine and Kego Park give a clear landmark on the way toward Nishi-dori and Daimyo, where the streets shift toward smaller shops and cafés.
Useful to know
Start with Tenjin Chikagai if you want a sheltered shopping circuit.
Use Kego Shrine or Kego Park as a landmark before continuing toward Nishi-dori and Daimyo.
