Topography of Terror
At the former Gestapo and SS headquarters site, photographs and documents explain how Nazi persecution was organised. The indoor exhibition makes this a substantial history stop in poor weather.
The documentation centre places the machinery of Nazi terror where its central offices once stood. Exhibition panels follow the institutions, people and decisions behind persecution and mass murder; the outdoor grounds retain traces of the site and a nearby section of the Berlin Wall. Give the material unhurried attention rather than treating it as a quick pass-through.
