Why go
The early twentieth-century building now houses the city’s People’s Committee. Its ornate facade anchors one end of Nguyễn Huệ, so it works well as part of a walk along the pedestrian street rather than as a stand-alone indoor attraction. The change from colonial city hall to today’s civic headquarters is part of what makes the exterior worth studying.
