Lake Toya
Lake Toya is a volcanic caldera lake with islands and surrounding mountain views. This pin marks the Ukimido northern-shore viewpoint, one specific place to take in the water; cruises and the southern lakeside promenade are separate visits.
Ukimido offers a defined shoreline stop for seeing Lake Toya’s islands and the shape of its caldera. It is a calmer northern-shore perspective than the busier southern resort strip. If you want the sculpture promenade, hot springs or a cruise, plan those as separate legs rather than assuming they are all beside this pin.
