Market Square Park
Pause in a leafy square at the historic heart of downtown Houston. Public art, a memorial garden and regular programming make it a compact destination within a wider walk through the district.
Market Square helps you understand the older city beneath today’s downtown skyline. The site once held city halls and later became a public green space, giving an ordinary-looking square a long civic history. Take a short break under the trees, notice the art and memorial garden, and use the surrounding historic streets as context.
