Why go
This is a full day for visitors who want more than a single Beatles photo stop. Begin at The Beatles Story, then walk toward Pier Head. British Music Experience offers wider popular-music context, but treat it as an optional 90-minute visit. Continue to Liverpool Beatles Museum in the Cavern Quarter and finish with live music at the Cavern Club. The three essential stops and walks take about five hours and forty-five minutes at ideal pace. Leave another 30 to 45 minutes for a meal or rest; adding British Music Experience makes a full eight-hour day. If the museums run long, skip the optional stop rather than the break. Check current opening and the Cavern programme before setting out.
