We are going to follow the building. Start in the Cour Napoléon, beside the Pyramid, outside entrance lanes. Look at the glass and the stone façades around it. Below the courtyard is the reception hall. Below parts of the palace are remains of the medieval fortress.
After this first observation, use the entrance lane indicated for your ticket and follow staff directions through security. The route continues inside, from the lower remains to rooms used for royal gatherings and the display of art. Queues are additional to the visit time. If you entered by another access, you can begin at the Hall Napoléon and continue from the second stop.
