Achadas da Cruz Cable Car
A steep cable car links Achadas da Cruz with the cultivated coastal fajã of Quebrada Nova. The ride suits anyone seeking a dramatic descent and time beside the Atlantic below.
Why go
The descent is the experience: the car crosses the cliff face to a small pebble shore and agricultural plots. It was also built to move farmers and harvests, so the route tells a local working-landscape story as well as offering a striking north-coast view.
