Cabo Girão
A glass-floor viewpoint sits above Cabo Girão’s 580-metre sea cliff west of Funchal. Choose the platform for a concentrated cliff experience, with no long trail required.
Choose this stop for the abrupt drop and wide ocean view rather than a long walk. The transparent platform changes the experience of looking down the cliff, and its position near Câmara de Lobos makes it a natural addition to that stretch of coast.
