Marbella Castle and Walls
The surviving castle walls reveal the fortified edge of Marbella’s old town, best appreciated by following the exterior streets rather than expecting an intact castle interior.
Changes in masonry and the surviving towers make the town’s defensive history visible at street level. This is a walk around an urban remnant, with different views from the lanes along its edge. The fragmentary walls reward looking closely more than searching for a single grand entrance.
