Where to stay in Marrakech
A medina riad, a Gueliz hotel and accommodation beyond the walls create very different Marrakech days. Choose the district for your walking plans and transport needs before comparing rooms.
Why go
Staying inside the medina puts you close to souks and historic sights, but arrival with luggage may involve narrow lanes away from car access. Gueliz offers broader streets and better alignment with the railway station. Outer districts can offer more space yet add a transfer to each old-city visit. Pick the trade-off you will feel twice a day.
