Couleuvre Waterfall Trail

The Couleuvre Waterfall Trail follows a river inland from the Anse Couleuvre parking area. Its forest route becomes steeper as it approaches the falls.

Why go

This is a walking visit, not an extra name for the beach. The tourism page describes roughly 1.6 kilometres beside the river, with early traces of former plantation activity and increasingly rugged ground upstream. Allow enough time to return in daylight, and postpone the walk after heavy rain when water levels and footing can change quickly.

What to look for

  • The forest path follows a river inland.
  • Bridge and cassava-vat remains stand near the start.

Useful to know

  • Start from the Anse Couleuvre parking area and check trail conditions.
