From Vijay Chowk, the two blocks make the geometry of New Delhi’s ceremonial centre easy to read. Herbert Baker designed the matching buildings, and their placement on either side of the axis creates a strong view toward Rashtrapati Bhavan. The interest here is architectural and spatial, not an interior tour.
