Arriving by Train
Praha hlavní nádraží is Prague’s central railway station and a practical starting point for the city. Check your ticket’s station name before planning the last leg to your accommodation.
Why go
Rail arrival places you closer to the historic center than the airport, but Prague has more than one station. The abbreviation Praha hl.n. identifies the main station. From there, use the city transport network or walk if your destination and luggage make that comfortable. Check current platform and connection information rather than relying on old route lists.
Useful to know
Match the station name on your ticket to your onward route.
At Praha hlavní nádraží, decide between a city transport connection and walking based on luggage and the final address.
