From the Prague World / Places

Letná Park

Walk above the Vltava for broad views of Prague’s bridges and a break in a large public park. The exposed outlook works best in comfortable weather.

Letná Park

Why go

Letná gives a useful high-level view of the city’s river bend without a tower ticket. The Prague Metronome marks the former memorial platform. Its paths connect the museum district with the castle-side green spaces, making it a flexible pause or a dedicated viewpoint walk rather than another Old Town stop.

What to look for

  • Look down the chain of Vltava bridges.
  • Follow the plateau paths through the trees.
  • See the Prague Metronome on its high platform.

Useful to know

  • Wear comfortable shoes for the slope and paths.
  • Treat the viewpoint as weather dependent.
