Why go
This easy waterfront walk suits anyone who wants to look closely at Puerto Vallarta’s outdoor art. Parque Hidalgo gives you a starting point at the north end of the central stretch. Follow the promenade from Millennia to Nostalgia and In Search of Reason, giving each work enough time to notice its form and setting. The Boy on the Seahorse leads toward Los Arcos Amphitheater, where the waterfront becomes a gathering place as well as an open-air gallery. Distances between artworks are short, so the day can stay relaxed. Add a longer pause along the bay if you want, and choose cooler hours for this exposed walk.
