Jiaoji Railway Qingdao Museum
This railway museum occupies part of Qingdao Station’s landmark eastern building. Five themed galleries follow the Jiaoji Railway’s development and the close relationship between rail transport, the port and the modern city.
The museum explains why the railway mattered so much to Qingdao’s growth. Five themed galleries connect historic railway objects with the development of the port and the modern city. The station setting makes that relationship tangible, giving the displays a strong sense of place and a story that reaches beyond trains alone.
