Why go
This central San Antonio day works especially well for families who want several kinds of discovery in one area. The Japanese Tea Garden offers a gentle start before a short passage through Brackenridge Park. Make the zoo the longest stop, with room for a meal or rest, then shift to the Witte Museum for indoor exhibits and a different pace. The park is a useful breathing space between the more structured visits, so there is no need to cover every path. All four stops matter to the arc, but the time at each can be adjusted to suit children’s energy.
