Why go
This route is for a slower day that pairs green space with contemporary culture and river architecture. Start on the wooded paths of Cristina Enea Gardens, then spend substantial time inside Tabakalera. María Cristina Bridge is the next landmark; from there, follow the Urumea north before turning toward the Hotel María Cristina facade. End in Gipuzkoa Square, where the formal garden makes a calm finish. The outdoor sections are exposed, so keep the pace flexible in poor weather. Tabakalera is the main visit and deserves more time than the brief bridge and facade stops; the rest is a gentle walking sequence.
