Palić
Palić is a lakeside town near Subotica, with parkland and resort architecture that suit a slower outdoor visit. Its strongest combination is decorative buildings, shoreline walking and the planted grounds of the zoo.
The Water Tower forms an ornamented gateway into the park, while the Grand Terrace creates a passage towards the lakeshore. Those buildings make Palić more than a lake excursion: they extend Subotica’s Art Nouveau story into a resort landscape. The zoo adds a longer walk among gardens and animal enclosures.
What to look for
The Grand Terrace combines decorative timber with a central passage.
The Water Tower’s arch marks the entrance to the park.
Useful to know
Combine the park and lakeshore before adding the zoo’s longer walking visit.
Plan Palić with nearby Subotica if architecture is the main interest.
