Mediana
Mediana preserves part of a late Roman estate on the eastern side of Niš. Mosaics and villa remains make this a focused archaeological visit outside the central walking area.
The site connects present-day Niš with the Roman city of Naissus and the imperial world of Constantine. The villa's layout helps explain elite domestic life, while the floor decoration gives a more immediate impression of its wealth. Allow time to read the remains rather than rushing between features.
