Name of Mary Church
The Name of Mary Church faces Liberty Square with a tall neo-Gothic spire and patterned roof. It is a short architectural stop within Novi Sad's compact centre.
The church's brickwork, pointed forms and coloured roof tiles help distinguish the square from the surrounding civic buildings. Its scale is best understood from the square before approaching the façade. An interior visit, when available, adds stained glass and carved details to the exterior impression.
