Vršac Castle
Vršac Castle stands on the hill above the Banat plain. The surviving and restored defenses make this both a historical stop and an outing for the view.
The donjon gives a clear focal point, while the hilltop position explains the castle's defensive value. Looking back toward Vršac connects the monument with the town below and the surrounding plain. The exposed setting makes a calm, clear day much more rewarding than poor visibility or strong wind.
