The full story

The Real Audiencia of Seville was a court of the Crown of Castile, established in Seville in 1525, during the reign of Charles I. Had jurisdiction in civil and criminal, but had no powers of government. It was established as a court of appeal and was unaware of cases in first instance. Building The Real Audiencia de los Grados de Sevilla building is located in the Plaza de San Francisco de Sevilla, and is currently the headquarters of the financial institution Cajasol. The building was built between 1595 and 1597, although earlier in his place was called Casa Cuadra, where justice was administered, since shortly after the retaking of the city in 1248. Art Collection Has an interesting library of painting, sculpture, prints and furniture for more than three hundred pieces, among which is the portrait of Archbishop Pedro de Urbina, the work of Murillo, the seventeenth-century anonymous work representing the San Fernando King and among the works of the twentieth century is the painting "young flowers in her hair" by Gonzalo Bilbao.
