Why go
This coast day suits walkers who want to compare different Atlantic shores rather than spend the whole day on one beach. Begin with the long sweep of Praia Grande, pause at smaller Praia Pequena, and continue to the village setting of Maçãs Beach. The Azenhas do Mar viewpoint gives a clear finish above the cliffs. Its beach is optional because access and the shoreline experience can change with sea conditions. These are separate beach visits, not a promise of a continuous sand walk: use suitable public paths and roads between them, and check conditions before setting out. Arrange your own return from Azenhas.
